Sirajdikhan police have arrested three people in Sirajdikhan of Munshiganj along with domestic distilled liquor.
ASI Shankar Chandra and SI Sikder Aur Rashid of Shekhar Nagar Investigation Center and Force Shekhar Nagar Union arrested three persons on the basis of secret information while they were selling drugs behind the shop of Kheyaghat Babul Electronics near Baram Bazar on Thursday. The accused were regularly booked under the Narcotics Control Act at Sirajdikhan police station and sent to jail.
The arrested accused are Abdullah Dewan, 19, son of Monir Dewan of Gopalpur village in Shekharnagar union of the upazila, Kausar, 20, son of Mizanur Rahman Palash and Mamun, 20, son of Anwar Hossain of Araibaria village.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station Mohammad Borhan Uddin said, "We arrested these 3 persons with distilled liquor by conducting a raid on the basis of secret information while selling drugs." Regular cases have been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and handed over to the wise court.
