Advocate Zahid Hasan,(28) A former student of the law department of Northern University, died at the hospital in a road accident today. Advocate Mir Zahid Hossain (Munshiganj District and Sessions Judge Court). Advocate Zahid Hasan, (28) lost control of his motorcycle in a road accident in Munshiganj and died on Sunday (September 5).
According to sources he was returning home after completing his work from the court building in Kotgaon area of Munshiganj Sadar on Sunday. He was returning home on his bike to Balasur village in Srinagar upazila.
He was later rescued and taken to Serajdikhan Health Complex Hospital where the on-duty doctor sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment. When he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Advocate Rozin Yasmin, General Secretary of Munshiganj Bar Association, said that Zahid Hasan, a member of our Bar Association, died in a motorcycle accident on his way home after court work. He became a member of Munshiganj Bar Association on 8 February 2019.
Officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station Mohammad Borhan Uddin said, "Police have been sent to the spot after receiving the information. Mountain action will be taken as per law."
