Consumer rights campaign in Sirajdikhan, 14 thousand Tk(Bdt) Fine.

 A fine of Tk 14,000 has been collected from shop owners for conducting expired drugs in Sirajdikhan of Munshiganj.


 On Wednesday (September 1), Mallick Pharmacy was fined Tk 3,000, Survi Dental Tk 3,000, SS Pharmacy Tk 2,000 and Raicha Mini Market grocery store Tk 3,000 for keeping expired drugs at Ichapura Chowrastha in the upazila under Section 51 of the Consumer Rights Act.


 The fines were levied during market monitoring and awareness activities.


 The campaign was led by Asif Al Azad, Deputy Director, National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Munshiganj.


 Nasir Uddin, general secretary of CAB Sirajdikhan branch and Sirajdikhan police were also present.


 Asif Al Azad, Deputy Director, National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Munshiganj, said that market monitoring activities are ongoing and will continue to ensure the availability of daily necessities at fair prices.
