A pedestrian was killed when a private car hit him on the Dhaka-Mawa Express in Sirajdikhan.

A pedestrian was killed when a private car hit him on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Sirajdikhan of Munshiganj.  The accident took place at 4pm on Friday when a private car heading from Dhaka to Mawa collided head-on at Nimtala in the upazila.

 The identity of the deceased has not yet been identified.

 Witnesses said the man was walking from Nimtala Estan to Nimtala Bazaar on the top of the road wall.  At that time, a speeding red private car from Dhaka pushed him and took him 30/40 hands away with the car.  Later the car quickly fled from there.

 Officer-in-charge of Hasara Highway Police Station Afzal Hossain said the identity of the deceased has not been identified yet.  No one in the area recognized him.  We have informed the PBI.  After identifying the body, we will take necessary action.
